update on dad

thank you all for your prayers, visits, and constant love.  My dad is one loved man, today this waiting room was packed with his sweet friends and family, praying for him, and thanking god for saving him.  He is blessed.

Dad is in lots of pain still in his head and lungs/chest.  He still has a tube in his lungs and many fractures in his face, and broken ribs.  Hid head is pretty beat up from the fall, and his right eye is swollen shut.  It is black and blue and gives him lots of pain.  His bones around his right eye are broken in several places.  A plastic surgeon came in today and looked at it- he might not be able to ever open it again, but we don't know, time will tell.   There is a pool of blood behind his right eye that they are watching closely to make sure it doesn't bleed more into his brain.  So far, the docs think this will go away with time.

He sat in a chair today for a while, watching tv a little and loved on everyone that came to see him.  My precious dad is for sure a rock, he gives everything he has to others.  He is still in ICU as of now.

My mom- she is extrememly tired.  She is holding on the the good news and thankful for the life he saw quickly almost almost leave her.  If my mom wasn't at home when my dad fell off the ladder my dad would not have lived from the blood coming out of the his mouth and nose.  My family is holding tight together for the goodness and greatness of our god.

ps. i hope this all makes sense i am so tired...i just wanted to update you all to take some pressure off my mom with emails and calls.  although she loves hearing all of your sweet messages and voices on her phone, thank you.
