today around 2:30 i got a call that my dad was painting on a 20 ft latter at their house in atl, and we aren't sure what happened, but he fell off of the latter onto their deck. We quickly threw things in the car and headed to atl. I saw my dad tonight at 8:45. He has blood behind his right eye (which is fractured) and that is something we are asking you to pray for. We are praying this will not collect any more blood from the trama. His left lung collasped this afternoon, so they rushed him into surgery and pierced his lung with a tube so they could get the air in his lung out and try and rebuild that lung. Because on the brain injury's they weren't able to give him anesthesia- so we was awake during the surgery. He is in a lot of pain- but is talking which is a true miracle. We are asking you to stand together and pray for my precious dad. There is no one in the world like him. We don't know any of the other broken bones b/c they are treating the major things tonight. He is in icu tonight. Please cover him, and I thank you deeply.
I got to go in icu and hold his hand tonight and he knew i was there and talked me. He is one strong strong man. He is completely covered in paint since he was painting...so we knew the doctors and nurses that were taking care of him b/c they would come in and out of the doors with paint on them.
That is all for tonight...i have got to get a little sleep. Pray for my mom- she need to covered fully!
I am thankful to have my dad with me tonight more than ever...
