My precious dad. Today he was moved to a room, out of ICU. Did I think on saturday that my dad would ever walk again, speak to me, or even leave to hospital to go home with my mom, no. God has mighty plans for my dear dad. After seeing the deck he fell on the ladder he was on, he IS a walking miracle. It will be a long hard recovery for sure, and they may be other surgery's to follow. But, we rejoice that my dad is alive and still loving on his sweet grandkids, and being his fun loving self even with all his pain. All the nurses are loving my dad b/c he is so sweet and love everyone he meets. He sure scared us all to death, but he does now have a new nick name, paint boy! He has not been able to take a shower so he is still covered in paint from the fall. Poor thing.
He still has a chest tube in his lungs, and the pain from his broken ribs is hard to bare. His right eye is still swollen shut and may never open again. But, we are praying it will. The blood between his right eye and the brain is still there but hasn't gotten larger, so we are praying it will go away and continue to not harm his brain. Please cover my mom's strength, and let her let other love and serve her through this time. She needs rest and is still going 100 miles a minute.
Thank you all for your prayers and love. Dad's loved for sure. He loves seeing all of his friends and family. Today graham and ellie took the morning to see him, and graham loved seeing his pop pop. Than you all for your love. Truly.
we love you pop pop!
