As I sit here and write this blog...I am kinda floored that I have a 2 year old today. I look at my little man and think- how did this happen? He looks and acts like a real little boy now. Boo hoo! I absolutely love having a 2 yr old- despite what the world has about the terrible two's- Graham is one big ball of joyful energy! He wakes up happy- singing, talking, dancing, and carries his joy throughout the day and to others. Graham seems to be learning a new word everyday. I love trying to figure out what his sweet mumbo jumbo means. Daily we talk about everyone in the family-we go through about 10 times a day everyone in our family and where they are. This is the Christmas of 2007 right before we had graham!
Two weeks ago Mike's dad was hear, Graham calls him "pa pa"- he got on an airplane for a business trip- so now every time we see a plane in the sky- he says "pa pa." He thinks he is still in the airplane. I love how kids think! Also he learned the color blue or "bloo" to him so when I ask him what color something is- everything right now is bloo! He has transformed my mom's name Bi Bi- to boo boo" who he absolutely thinks the world of. There are mornings he wakes up calling for boo boo to come. My mom and Graham have had lots of fun together the last 2 years playing the piano, and going on their Birmingham traditional date to a local bakery here to go a ginger bread cookie. Every time my mom comes- she takes him there and they have their little date together! Priceless! And with Mike's mom known as "nana" he loves playing outside and picki
ng flowers for his mommy (nothing like a 2 yr old running to their mommy to give them flowers!) with her. They love singing songs and playing the "I'm gonna get you game!" And out good old "pop pop". When I was pregnant with Graham my dad wanted to be called POPS! Well, once G started talking more and calling everyone by name- he started calling my dad 'pop pop'. For some reason when he says his name- he yells it and says it with complete excitement from his core! He loves driving in his BIG truck, saying "go team go"- with my dad. Dad is always w
atching some sports something and G likes to sit with him and pump his arm like my dad. They have always have had a neat relationship. Graham is so blessed to have his 4 grandparents, here to love on him! He loves them dearly!
Things he is doing right now- talking no-stop! Love it though! Walking down stairs now by himself. Eating on his own with a fork!
Words he says all day- choo choo, down please, more please, keys, big truck, cheese, chic chic, momma, da da, el (for ellie), ei ei o, ba ba, dog dog (yes he says it twice), ju ju for juice, drill, bam bam for hammer, ta ta for thank u, hi, bye bye, tar for car, rara for aunt sarah, t for aunt terra, hen for aunt jenn, namie for amie, jt, le le for leslie, wy wy for wyatt, na na for night night, nummy nummy for food or yummy, chair, pop for top, spooooon, kat for cat, tuttles for cuddles, twooooooooooo for two years old, dip for dipping food in, poo poo, and t t, bat time for bath time. Those are all the ones that stand out the most right now and I want to be able remember these things down the road...since after having kids i feel like half my brain has been stolen from me and magically vanished over night! =)
Here are a few of my fav moments wi
th G the last 2 years
On April 28th 2008 we were blessed with our precious first earthly child! Even though I had been in the hospital with precampcia for a week before having him (meaning this is a rough picture of me)- I was overjoyed to see my sweet baby boy for the first time. The greatest sound was hearing him cry for the first time. What a moment! From this day on I have been blessed!

3 MONTHS OLD! Hanging out with his cousins Liam and Emma on Nana's birthday!
Loving his swing!

5 months!
My little boy loves to laugh
and smile! Playing in the tub at 6 month. Our first trip to PA where Mike's family lives, this is a priceless picture for us all because this is Mike's Grandpop who we are so thrilled got to meet mr. Graham. He passed away just a few months ago. A man that we are so glad to have known and share this life with. He loved his family/friends and has passed down a sweet legacy of handyman skills to his grandchildren!

Buddies! Graham and his dad are best of friends! Yes, that sounds cheesey but it's true. Graham walks around the house with his hammer and drill and acts like he is building something just like Mike. It's amazing how much Graham watches every move Mike makes....scarey sometimes. Graham thinks that daddy can fix/create/ build anything. He isn't far off- but yesterday Graham pointed to a large tree and said- dada. Meaning daddy made that tree! I laughed and said daddy does use lots of wood like a tree to build things but God made that big tree. Don't know if it set in or not- but that just shows the love and great respect g has for his amazing daddy. They have their own little things they do together- knock the rock, hammering, playing rough in the playroom, rocking at night together, and praying nightly prayers together. In this picture to the left G is 3 months old.
first time to swim with da da!

This is one of my favorite pics....Graham had a onesie on i had made for him to wear b/c it was Me Me's 91st b-day. My cousins were there to meet mr. g for the first time and this was the first time g started making facial expressions. Graham now can say Me Me although in his book it's moo moo! ha!
Graham had just started pulling up on things and crawling- I'll never forget this day...I went in his room and was laughing because he was standing- oh so happy!!
Graham's first Chrsitmas we celebrated his first christmas in atl with family. NO- Uncle Stephen hadn't been in the egg-nog! =)
Graham is 1! What a fun day this was to celebrate Graham's 1st birthday! It's amazing how a child is born such a tiny little thing and with in 12 months they're so much bigger, mobile, and all!
First trip to the beach with Bi Bi and Pop Pop! He starting walking on this trip had fun riding in the wagon down the beach, and went to have ice cream for the first time! Has loved it since!

Along the 2 years- look at all the cousins we have! This G's nana and pappy with all 6 (ellie on the way) grandkids! What fun fun fun! (left) Liam, Graham, Will, Logan, Lilly, Emma! He
loves anytime that he gets to play with nana or pappy!
Christmas 2009! We had our uncle stephen and aunt rarra (sarah) come with my parents and we had a house full of laughter. This last Sept they were blessed with twins, Brooks and Reese! So within 2 years my parents have been given 4 grandkids- again ellie was on the way! =) Always a fun time with the Bruner bunch!

Graham meeting his sweet sister Ellie! Her homecoming was so sweet and big brother g was super excited and has been a sweet big brother that loves to give her lots of kisses!

To my two year old boy! You are two! I just can't believe time has gone oh so quickly! You are such a delight to parent. As your momma- I am so proud of you! Thank you for blessing me everyday with your smile, your sweet kisses, and laughter! I love you soooooooooooooooooooooooo much!
Happy 2nd birthday!
Your choo choo train or (two two) train party will be in 2 weekends! All aboard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Today we are doing everything "two"! He woke up this morning and went to breakfast with his daddy for his favorite thing, pancakes! He got home and had two sippy cups of juice waiting for him. He helped mommy open two blinds this morning, we played with two trains, he gets to watch two kid movies today (there only 20 mins!). What a day to celebrate!
