A day with Graham! It's been a huge transition the last week with in our family. Graham has been an amazing trooper!
Today since Mike had off for MLK- our family (minus Ellie), took a little lunch date to Oak Mnt park! Graham had some good mommy and daddy time together. Mike and his mom made a little picnic lunch as we all headed to get some fresh air. It was just what we all needed, not just Grahambo! Graham has been so sweet and has been great at telling Mike and I go to the NICU while he has been playing with his two grandma's off and on. We have been trying to schedule our NICU time during Graham's naps, and after he goes to sleep so we can spent as much time with him as we can- while balancing our new life for a little bit.
Here is our little family one week out from having Ellie. We are so thankful for her and the sweet baby she is. Today we had a great time together but our hearts did ache that she wasn't with us. We are praying that she will be home as soon as she is ready. We really don't have a time frame right now. Ellie is having a hard time eating. She can suck, and swallow, but she can't breath between sucking. She will suck a bottle but won't stop to breath then her oxygen levels fall. So- with time we are praying she will start to become coordinated to do all three, suck, swallow, and breath. That is how you can pray for her! Thank you!
Here is Mike and Graham spending some guy time together. I think it was a blessing for Mike to get out of the house/nicu/hospital and spend some time in nature. He and Graham had a blast being silly together. He is such an amazing dad!
So as you can see our day out pooped our little love out. He was completely worn out! I loved spending this quality time with Graham- I've missed him so much being in the hospital and before having Ellie being on bed rest- it was truly amazing for us all to get out on such a great sunny day- being together and seeing God's great creation!
Here is Miss Ellie on day 7 in the NICU. Today mommy got to have a little fun dressing her little girl up! Her Aunt Sarah and cousin Reese sent this fun flower to her to wear. We had to test it out and see Ellie with some girl things on her! Our progress today was Ellie was moved from her heated bed to a crib. We hope her temperature will stay regulated being in a real crib! So today I also got to put clothes on her for the first time. I can't tell you how excited I was to put a little pink on her. She has been on a heated bed since she was born and just wearing a little diaper.

Here is Ellie's in her first outfit! She looks so cozy cute!!! We love our little girl!
