Sometimes in life- you need to breath. This weekend our entire family needed to get away from b-ham for a few days and just have some time as a family. We sure needed it! We went to bi bi and pops house for a time to just relax....so we thought! Of course we had a weekend saga. Ellie's g-tube button got infected saturday night- we have never heard her cry like that before. It absolutely broke my heart. Mike and I didn't sleep that night at all as we cared for her. Finally at 5 am mike said i am just taking her to the hospital- she is in so much pain. At that point we weren't sure what was making her cry so much. I agreed- so he put her in the car- drove to scotish right in atl, and by the time he got there she was sound asleep- the kind of sleep that was good sleep- out! So since she hadn't slept all night he decided to just let her sleep- so bless his heart- he came back to my parents house and let her sleep in the driveway for 2 hours, while he slept there as well. He is an amazing daddy to his little one. He constantly gives his sleep, time, and love to her no matter how tired he is or how much work demands....Needless to say that afternoon we took her in to get check and her little g-tube was infected for the first time. We could tell she was in lots of pain- it was killing us all. They treated her with meds and today she is like a new child- she is so brave and strong. We are so blessed by her daily- that smile is endless- and her joy is constant.
Ellie loved putting the eggs in and out of her baskest....

Graham loveddddddddddddddddd easter egg hunting- and helping ellie find her eggs as well- he is getting so big!
After ellie's big adventure to the hospital- she was worn out. Bi bi sat with her and played her some sweet music and ellie just put her head on the paino and started saying-- "awwww" she loved the music. So- even though our weekend wasnt completely stress free it was still nice to get away, go on a date with my hubby, take naps, and have a change in our daily routines!
