she moved us all

This weekend my family celebrated the sweet, servant life of my dear me me.  She lived a life full love.  She was a quiet soul that didn't have to say much, just her presence was powerful.  She adored who she is with now, her Lord!  I remember as a child laying in bed with her as she prayed- there was nothing but a humbled heart praying before the lord.  She lived to love on others- never complaining, simple, always up lifting, cooking for others, taking sick meals, and always laughing.  I will miss her laughter, her sweet hands, the way she made me feel when she huged me, her letters, her voice, going to macon ga to see my me me, her pound cakes, her heart, her giggle, and the sparkle in her eyes when she smiled at you.
This weekend we had a beautiful service for her life.  We rejoiced for the life she lived, the love she gave, and the god she served.  She is home.  I miss her deeply.  I wish I could tell her just one more time on this earth what she meant to me.  But I am thankful for the memories I have with her and the way she pierced my heart forever. I will see her again.
Her favorite hymn was below.

                                                  (this was her 90th birthday) 4 yrs ago.

                          this year at her 94th birthday (aug 13th, 2011).  She fell a week after this birthday.

look at that precious smile.

Great is Thy Faithfulness
Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father;

There is no shadow of turning with Thee;

Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not;

As Thou hast been, Thou forever will be.

Great is Thy faithfulness!

Great is Thy faithfulness!

Morning by morning new mercies I see.

All I have needed Thy hand hath provided;

Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!
How Great Thou Art
When Christ shall come with shout of acclamation

And take me home- what joy shall fill my heart!

Then I shall bow in humble adoration

And there proclaim, my God, how great thou art!

Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee,

How great Thou art, how great Thou art!

Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee,

How great Thou art, how great Thou art!

me me, we miss you grately, but rejoice you are in the arms of jesus.  thank you for all you left with your unfailing love.
love you always. missing you,
