our lives recently have been a bit crazy recently. there have been some really difficult circumstances thrown our way the last 6 months. our kids have been sick for about 2 weeks now, and mike and i are truly worn out right now. this weekend we needed a little fun, rest, and yummy cooking!
i know in the midst of trials our god is much bigger than we are. he knows our known heart better than me do (kinda crazy). As a believer my heart must lean deeper and stronger into his will, and trust his ways are mighty, good, and perfect. it is hard at times for sure. my human heart kicks in all the time, but i must believe he is working in the midst of trials. for my dear hubby- there is nothing more enjoyable than a camp fire...so we made one if the bk yard this wknd and i had one happy hubby.

my dad; for you all that have prayed- thank you, and here is my miracle dad- exactly one month after his fall- he is healing more each day- we are still praying for his eye and his ribs to completely heal...love u pops!

miss ellie ate by mouth an entire banana cut up on sunday. yes you read that right. we had to get a picture b/c we were so thankful and proud and she was too! it was amazing- she just did it- no gags- no chokes- just ate it. god is faithful...always.
