us

This last weekend and the beginning of this week, we just did a lot of hanging out and laying low around the house.  It was much needed and completely wonderful to just spend some time doing family things....last week and this weekend we were all a little sick so we played in our pj's til almost lunch time on Saturday, spent lots of time in the playroom, and rested rested rested.  (Above- Mike and ellie).  My dear hubby is absolutely a life saver- he spends many nights tag teaming it with me if miss ellie doesn't sleep well...we aren't sure what is going on still with her sleeping patterns but they are all over the board.  We have many nights of 4 or 5 hrs of sleep, and as you know- mommy's and daddy get grumpy tired, and worn out quickly when lack of sleep is involved.  I couldn't be more thankful for a man that is right there with me through it all.  God sure knew he would be perfect for miss ellie, and mrs. shelli!
We did a little painting project and after paint and a 3 yr old are friends- it isn't clean that's for sure.  So after we painted some little projects graham wanted to get in our sink and clean off and play for a bit.  I wasn't paying close attention when i looked over and realized he had gotten ellie's feeding supplies from the counter and was "eating like ellie" as he said.  Tears filled my eyes- not bc of the feeding tube- but b/c that was completely normal and totally ok with graham that this is the way ellie eats sometimes.  He thought the world of this b/c this is what his baby sister does.  He knew exactly what to do- I am amazed- he just said he didn't have a button in his tummy- so would eat through his mouth- but still like her.  It was one of the those child like faith moments.  dear.
who knew mommy's rain boots could be such a hit- he loves these things- wears them numerous times a wk!
our sweet friend mrs. tori made this fun shirt for graham and he loveeeees it- he asked me to take a picture of him- so thought we'd say hey and thanks to mrs. tori for our new fun shirt!
the old days- i remember so well as a child eating oatmeal for breakfast with either banana's or peaches in it.  When it was a special day my mom is sweet me me would put a little scoop of ice cream on top to cool it off and for a little extra yumminest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
graham was quite excited to eat oatmeal to way mommy did sometimes as a child!  hmmmmm good!
