he got a fun package from his cousins and aunt and uncle all the way from orlando! thank u!
after having a yummy special breakfast with his daddy he got to open his gift from mommy, dadddy, and ellie- a new kitchen....look at that face!
helping daddy put it together...he was thrilled!
                                                                     he loves it!
i walked in the den as he was eating lunch and it was such a big day...this is what i found...i couldn't resist from taking a picture....we had a big day...can u tell? nap time!
                                                             happy 3rd birthday graham!

                                                       we celebrate you sweet boy!
After a fun filled day of playing, eating, opening a few gifts, lots of phone calls, lots of birthday singing, his favorite dinner chinese chicken, and cake....we say goodnight to this precious gift...graham....you are 3!  crazy!  we love you wild man!

And even though we have had a great day rejoicing over this sweet child.  Our hearts ache and hurt for so many here in the state of Alabama.  We are more than ever thankful for our house, warm beds, power, clothes, a door the close at night, our family safely together, our neighbors safe, we are so blessed to have what we do.  We don't take it lightly the lives, families, and homes that were sadly and quickly taken yesterday by the huge storm that shattered through this state.  We are praying.....

"For even if the mountains walk away

and the hills fall to pieces,
My love won't walk away from you,
my covenant commitment of peace won't fall apart."
The God who has compassion on you says so.
11-17"Afflicted city, storm-battered, unpitied:
I'm about to rebuild you with stones of turquoise,
Lay your foundations with sapphires,
construct your towers with rubies,
Your gates with jewels,
and all your walls with precious stones.
All your children will have God for their teacher—
what a mentor for your children!
You'll be built solid, grounded in righteousness,
far from any trouble—nothing to fear!
far from terror—it won't even come close."
