my sweet me me!

This past weekend I had the great opportunity to go visit my 93 year old grandmother (me me to me) in macon ga! It was a blessing to share a few days with her...even though i felt almost naked not having children around, it was time i will cherish forever. My mom and I met in atl and went together to spend some time pampering this amazing lady! We cleaned, cut hair, painted finger nails, took her out to lunch and dinner, and just gave her as much love as our hearts could give. My grandmother is the most loving lady you will meet. She is simple, real, and the possitive lady out there. Loves everyone (seriously!). But, mostly her devotion to God is life changing. I remember as a little girl always getting to curl up in bed with her as she read her 80 year old devotion to me, and even though i had no clue what all the "thees" and "thous" were...the tone of her voice and life change from God was all I heard. She then prayed with me everynight I stayed with her, and she prayed for everyone under the sun. I would just lay beside her holding her arm....little did I know she gave me such a passion for others...she is a lady so dear. That is why I now and overjoyed my children have two grandmother's that adore Him and can give my children such sweet devotion! It was a bitter sweet weekend for me.
