tis the season!

This week has been chilly! Maybe not as chilly as our Alaska cousins have it right now...but with two kids in the house we are all trying to make sure and be bundled up cozy warm for this chilly air! Here is Graham and Ellie getting all bundled up for the Homewood Christmas parade Thursday night. Graham was beyond excited to see Santa- but of course he was the last float on the night- so the chilly air was quite burrrrr! But, we had a fun little family outing for the night.

Graham is learning so much about what the Christmas season is about. Friday before his fun day at school he loves looking at all the different Christmas decor...so he was playing with one the plastic balls on the tree and telling me about the reindeer on his longall. I couldn't believe the way he was chatting it up, and the sweetest in his heart as he was talking about baby Jesus. They really are like sponges right now. Neat!

Graham has always learned how to play gentle with his little sister ellie. He loves showing her how to use his old baby toys. Tonight we were up playing in the playroom and he was showing ellie how to push buttons on his old play radio. I was just sitting there watching my two kids play together, and #1 couldn't believe how big they've both gotten, and #2 how blessed I am to journey down this mothering road.
Graham was in his toy thomas the train toy box popping in and out playing hide and seek and peeka boo with ellie. He loves getting in this way more than putting actual toys in it when cleaning up! You can only be a kid once, right?
Miss Ellie is making some amazing progress with her eating skills. Thanks to you all that continue to pray for her daily. As a mom I am constantly floored at the devotion so many of you still have to pray for this child. We are working on eating more solid foods right now. I say that, meaning more than baby food. She is really getting the concept of bringing food to her mouth and chewing on it. So, we are starting will the baby num nums and she loves and kicks kicks kicks when i give them to her. We are so proud and so is she! Thank you all for you sweet devotion to our family!

So after a long night of eating and hard work...she pooped out and just fell right asleep...bless her heart! She is even holding her toy....and she went out. Sweetest love!

Graham and his yearly snowman towel. We've had this since his 1st Christmas. I can't believe this is his 3rd one! Sniff Sniff! He was making a pop pop silly face...this is what they do together on skype or in person. So funny how he picks up on the smallest things that people do. He has a silly pappy face, does an Indian sound anytime i say uncle Andy, so funny how he picks up these things! Keeps me on my toes for sure! Now, both kids are sleeping-it's raining out- I am going to have leave my kitchen the way it is, wrap not one more gift today- and go enjoy the quite how and some time with my hubby!
