Last week of summer.....

With summer 2010 being soooooooooooooo stinkin hot- this is where you might find us. A great fun outing for G and mommy to be around big (adult) people! =) Here are some of our summer memories- next week we start school 9-1pm on mon, wed, and fri...this is our last week of full summer! Here are some of our fav pics and moments...
This summer has been so much fun, even though I feel like we've been sick just about every other week (totally not kidding!) Who would have thought that these extremely hot days would have brought so many bugs into our little nest! Graham has been such an amazing little one playing inside, and hanging out in the playroom more than normal since we've been so restricted the last few months caring for baby sister ellie. Each new week recently Graham has been developing his vocabulary tremendously! He says the cutest things now. When you wants me to hold him...he says..."hold you mommy." Meaning- hold me. I love the ton he has when he says it- melts my heart. Also- if you ask him his name- it's "me"! Ha ha, sometimes I wish I could get in his brain and know what that he is thinking sometimes. Everyone says that the 2's are awful..I love it. Sure, we are disciplining constantly- but with love he is responding really well- as long as we are constantly consistent and root our actions and words in love with firmness- Thank you Growing Kids God's Way! Any moms that feel like they have nooooo clue how to work with new phases in their kids life- I totally recommend this study. Mike and I did it together we G was about 8 months old- I still go back at nights and look through my work book refreshing my pea little brain.
Flying his first kite on the beach with pop pop.....he was completely amazed! Always a good time when pop pop is around...full love fun, love, and always laughter...so thankful for my dad! Graham thinks he is his buddy for sure!

Graham also wants my food/drink...anything at all times....one night daddy went and bought us a milkshake and he wanted some we mommy and g had a little date together. I look at this picture and think....did we really go to the beach? It FLEW! We loved a week eating lots of seafood, taking some r&r with our fam, and seeing our crawling cousins! I love this picture b/c g is hugging bi bi...he has such a tender heart (at times!)Graham has been head first into books this summer, we read about 15 a day over and over....he loves them and will show you the same thing over and over....like he had never shown you before....Well, his cousin Grace got to read g his stories b/f bedtime while we were at the beach...both were lovin it! She is adorable with g!
One night ellie's boys- daddy and g were giving miss el bell some sweet lovin- she'll laugh so hard at them, it's adorable.

Graham and ellie swinging at the park! Graham could live at the park I think...he loves it!One night homewood park was having a fun night for the kids and graham wanted to climb up this slide. We totally thought once he got to the top he'd want us to come get him...but....he just threw his hands up and fell right now. Mike and I were laughing so hard and all the other parents watching b/c he was so tiny compared to all the other kids going down the slide. When he got to the bottom he said..more peeeaaseee..... there he goes.....weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!You can always count on nana to read a good story to all her little grand kids- this is one of the weekends we got to visit when our cawood cousins were all there too. Graham loves willy (lilly), emma, and heam (liam). He prays for them every night and loves spending any time he can get with his cousins!
We've had a great summer even through the trials- my children and our families constantly bless me and give me soooooooo much joy- I am so thankful for my two children and amazing husband.
