did this really happen????

today we have had a hand full of a day! we had a great lunch with daddy today- then on our way home g fell asleep. I normally try and keep him awake until we are home, but today he seemed extra tired and a bit fussy so i thought it's ok....we'll manage and i'll be able to get him in his bed without any problem. ha! i took him up the stairs, eyes still closes. I take his shoes off, eyes still closed. I turn his noise maker on, eyes still closed. I put him in his bed, "momma momma, no momma!" I said- gg it's time for night night. I see you in a minute after you are rested and have gotten some good dreams in! Of course he didn't like that- so I let him play in his bed for a bit. Thank the Lordy we have a video monitor that is still in his room- so I hear him talking and play. No problem. Then I look about 10 minutes later---and his diaper is off. Well, we have been working hard on potty training and talking a lot of going poop poop and tee tee. Well, I look in the monitor and there is a sweet little bum shinning at me....well that made me laugh....so up I go to put a diaper on him. When slowly I open his door-- and smell a nice aroma of poooooppppp!!!!!!!!! Not only did he pooped in his bed, he managed to get the poop and play with it like finger paint. It was all over the wood of his bed, in his blankets, on his legs, all over his hands.....thankfully- the first things I asked- was did you put any of this in your mouth? He says he didn't.....we pray he didn't. I put his straight in the bathtub and had to have 3 rounds of bath water where there was no poop found in the water. We'll as most of you know I have a super gag reflex- so I am trying my best not to gag---it was everywhere...the more I looked the more I found- poop! So I stripped everything on the bed, stuffed animals, blankets, pillows, I am going to have to wash them all. This is the life of a 2 1/2 yr old.....we learned today- poop isn't to play with! I almosted took a picture but it was a little too much....
