I love this picture!
For you all that have been so faithful to us and are constantly in contact with our progress with sweet Ellie-she has been home one week now. Thank you all for all the encouragement. I am amazed at the love pouring daily on us.
Thankfully, this first week home Mike was able to take off the entire week to love on Ellie and give Graham the special attention he needs right now in the adjustment period he is going through too. It has been huge for me that Mike has been here this week right by me at all hrs of the day. Mike is amazing at being a dad. I am daily blown away at the heart he has for his family and children. As his wife I can't be more thankful for the way he gives to us and never asks for anything in return.
Ellie is eating every 3 hrs right now, this first week we have fed her through her feeding tube mostly- just so that she can gain some weight and get used to her new environment- home! When Ellie takes a bottle it takes everything out of her. So this first week home we wanted to make her transition as easy as it could be.
We are for sure tired, getting up in the middle of the night- oh how quickly you forget about the wee hrs at night when you have a child that has been sleeping through the night for so long. She has been amazing sleeping. Last night she went 6 hrs before we fed her. This week has been wonderful for Graham to have us 4 all together. The first day or two Graham wasn't sure what to think, he kept kissing her, but when it really came time for us to feed her, or give her some quality attention- he would get a little whinny. Towards the end of the week though our little champ completely pulled through. He has been listening so well to us and been a huge little helper when we need small things like- diapers, wipes, a towel, something to make him feel important too! Our main focus has been having special time with him each day....he has really been a great big brother- ellie is one lucky girl. I love that fact that she'll have a big brother. There was nothing more special to me in my life than having a big brother to look up tpp- he was for sure my world until boys came into my world, and girls into his. What a neat relationship to have- and now to see our children start to have!
Continue praying for Ellie's str

Here is Graham as a baby- where has time gone? It's crazy how time has flown by!
I wanted to take some time to look through graham's newborn pics- Ellie and G for sure have some of the same features.
