28 weeks, really!!!?

Today I woke up and couldn't believe I am really 28 weeks pregnant! Thankfully, we have made is just another week! I can't believe that 8 weeks ago I started having contractions and I've been hanging out (resting) that long! You all have been praying for me, I know it, b/c honestly 3 weeks into moderate bed rest I thought- I think I am going to go crazy! The good news with me laying low is I am still pregnant and little Miss Ellie is still cozy and warm in my womb! When I was 23 weeks, my doctor told me to really take is easy so we could at least make it to 28 weeks! We have done it, and we pray for more time! I really feel as though I am going to actually make it further than I did with Graham (had him at 32 weeks). I am not swollen and feel ok, just have contractions! So, can I say thank you for all praying over my body, baby, and the safety of this pregnancy?! God is so faithful! So far the most amazing thing to eat right now is ice cream. Anything that is really cold is mmmmmmmmm good! I am sleeping off and on, something about 3am- 5 am I wake up and just doze off and on....I remember I did that when I was pregnant with Graham. So- if any of you need me to pray for you in any way- bring it on! I am up! The nursery is coming together too! My handy dandy hubby has spent so much time making her room girly, pink, sweet, and perfect for her. I will post some pictures soon!

So today- we had our sweet twin cousins, Logan and Will come by for a fun little play date! The twins (Morrow) are already 9 mo
nths old. They are crawling, talking, and really into laughing and looking at each other. It was precious! As weird as it sounds, I feel like I have switched into toddler mode, so to have the little ones around was a sweet reminder of what is to come! They are getting so big, but still do all the sweet little baby things! If you look at their picture do you know which one is Will or Logan? Logan is on the left and Will on the right! Graham wasn't so sure about how to play with babies, but we kept working on it- talked about sharing, being gentle....all of that! Hopefully, it will sink in at some point! Today Aunt Terra helped me make it through the day. She let me take a great nap, brought us dinner, and helped burn some of Graham's energy! Thanks so much for everything today. The last few days we haven't had our amazing Grandmothers around to help, so thankful we have had family here in b-ham and friends help some! I couldn't be more grateful, even saying that I don't feel as if I can really express my thankfulness- but you all have helped me safely carry Ellie just a little further! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Uncle Mike got home just in time to see Logan a bit- Will was already in his car seat- Uncle Mike loves playing with his sweet little nieces and nephews! Logan wasn't quite sure what to think about Uncle Mike playing with him at first- he makes this goofy/confused look when he isn't sure what's going on. It cracked me up! But then he started laughing. Can you believe that Mike's brother has twin boys, and my brother just has twins (girl, boy)! What are the odds of that! We love it though, and I give Terra and Sarah HUGE bonus points as they mommy two babies at once! We are counting down the days until we get to meet the Bruner twins over Thanksgiving, don't worry I'll post some pictures!
