SO BIG!

Zoo trip!
Sunday, our little family took a day trip to the Birmingham Zoo! After church we packed all of our stuff up and headed to the zoo for a day of fun with daddy, mommy, and lots of animals! Graham loved seeing all the animals, watching all the other children, and riding on daddy's shoulders. Graham saw lots of birds, fish, a hippo, lion, tiger, sea lion, and many more furry friends! We had a blast getting out the house all three of us!
New things! These are the new things that Graham does now daily. He wakes at 7:15 almost on the dot every morning. I call him my alarm clock! Our little guy always wakes up so happy! There is nothing like walking in his room and seeing him squeal with delight and excitement! We eat our morning oatmeal, and wish daddy a good day at work. Every morning we have to go to the door and wave to daddy as he heads to work. Some mornings G is sader than others. My little ball of energy loves to play with his toys, dance to his musical toys, and show me all the pictures in his books. Our mornings are full of play time.

Graham is trying to talk- sometimes we catch what he's saying and other times he'll just point to what he trying to get across. Of course his most favorite word is "da da"! He says it 900 times a day! But, with the loving daddy he has and the joy his daddy brings him- I can't complain! Right? I sometimes get called "da da" as well- I wish I could have one minute to see what a 15 month old is thinking! He loves doing his baby signing to tell us he wants "more food", or a "cookie". Graham has started making the cookie sign in the car, at church, playing, and in the middle of eating- quite a bit! Isn't is amazing how these little minds know cookies sure do have more flavor than peas?! My little cookie monster!
So I am seeing the closer we are getting to 18 months to more we are starting to test a little- what does "that's off limits"really mean?! I am learning more and more each day about the big word- discipline! We are working on not saying "no" 500 times a day- sometimes we have to be a bit more creative than other days. God created these precious children, and the discipline area is such an important but hard things to do at times.

But needless to say, Mike and I are loving this time with Graham and seeing all his developemental and physical changes! Each day he does something that makes me laugh so hard I laugh with everything I have! Thank you Graham for being such a joy to my life! This picutre is my most favorite picture- Graham brought mommy some flowers he picked at the neighbors house- and sweetly brought them to his mommy!!!!!!!!!!!! What more could a mom treasure? Look at that face!
