A girls night out....

Each day when I wake up and go get my little Graham out of his crib- I see those excited eyes and beaming smile and think, "what in the world did I do before I had kids." Well, this Thursday night Mike watched Graham for me and I did something for "me" and had a night of the town (pregnant remember!). A sweet friend and I went to Mac Grill sat and chatted over our meal, and said we were going to go to a 7:10 movie. Well, dinner was over and we decided to walk around the Sumit and shop a little since we both never go shopping with our boys. It was so quiet walking around and looking in the stores having no stroller, diaper bag, sippy cup, the whole bit! So closing time was coming to an end when my friend said, "hey our movie is playing at 9:45pm again (I am normally getting ready for bed or in bed by this time), do you think you could make it?" I said, "ya know what, why not!" So here I am pregnant (which means I am super tired all the time) living it up on a Thursday night! I know to all of you that aren't moms you think- seriously shelli thinks 9:45 is late! That's right I do now that I have a very active 15 month old that keeps me on my toes all day long! =) Our night ended as I pulled into the driveway at 12:30 am. Mike was still up, and was laughing so hard- he thought for sure I fell asleep in the movies, but since we saw- 'My sister's keeper' there was no sleepy eyes there, just tearful ones! So- that's my latest Thursday night get away, and life now as a mommy! It was a great little night- although Friday morning sure did come early!
