Graham's frog birthday party!

This past Saturday we had the pure joy of celebrate with our family and friends our son's 1st birthday! Even though Graham's actual birthday is the 28th of April we had his birthday this sunny Saturday in our back yard. The theme of his 1st birthday was frogs! Ever since graham was about 3 months old he started a jumping motion when you would hold him standing upward. Then he moved into his jumperoo and could stand there and jump for hours! So- the first year party we had to center around jumping. We were so thankful for all the support from friends and family this past year of Graham's life! From the NICU experience, to staying up hours at night nursing, to not getting sleep in the beginning, encouragement from others, we had a day to celebrate the day Graham came into this world. Thefrog party had a lilly pad hop, and frog toss, and draw the fly on the frog's tounge! Graham loved playing with all the kids that were there! It was a family reunion weekend for us all....even my Great Grandmother Ruth was there, that making her Graham's Great great Grandmother! What a special day! All the family memebers and friends were so thoughtful as they celebrated with us on the sunny Saturday! We had Graham's buddy Sawyer that he met in the NICU come celebrate with us, some great baby buddies from church, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, neighbors, so much love covering this child!
I can't believe the time has come that Graham is now one! Gosh- the first year really does "fly" by! Graham eating his first cake was interesting- he wasn't super interested in the cake...more about the people around him! That's Graham for ya! Thank you all for the sweet cards, the fun toys and gifts, and most of all the place you all hold in Grahams life! "Hoppy"first birthday Graham! We love you so much! We had so many that traveled to celebrate with us on this day, thank you! The album to the right has more pictures from the hopping party!
Mike's parents were missed greatly- with Mike's grandfather passing this past week they were in the right place visiting with his grandmother, but they were missed during the celebration!
