Sewing 101

So for the last 5 weeks I have been taking a sewing class on Wed nights (sewing 101)! Me and some other sewing girls have had so much fun learning about the basics of sewing. We learned about the machines, threads, different fabrics, but our main project was sewing pj pants! You wouldn't think that those would take 5 weeks! Well they did! I finally finished them up this week! I loved taking this class. I met some great friends, and it was a HUGE blessing to have a night out doing something different from my normal "mommy," and "wife" duties! Thanks to Mike's parents for giving me the sewing lessons for my b-day! I learned so much I didn't know and had some fun nights out and about! As many of you know I will make things here and there for my house, so now I won't be using my hot glue gun as much as before. I will really be able to use the sewing maching. I might be giving my sewing instructor a call, Miss Mildred! I will show off my pants here in a little bit! I would tell any mommy they should have some time to get out and have some time for yourself! It was a huge blessing to my heart as I learned something new and met some sweet girls! Sewing 102 is next.....maybe!
