Birthday boy!

Happy birthday Love!
This weekend we celebrated Mike's 28th B-day! We kept the weekend pretty low key as we did our normal odds and ends around the house. Saturday Mike, Graham, and Mommy went to daddy's favorite lunch spot! Then I headed home and while Graham was taking his afternoon nap I started making Mike's favorite dinner! Now- I know why God created kids to need naps to make it through the day....so parents can get a little something done!=) Just kidding! Mike wanted me to make him a cookie cake this year...so I did and popped it in the oven and continued making the rest of his meal. Graham woke up from his nap and I went to care to him. Yep, the cookie cake is still in the oven....I forgot! So needless to say it was a bit crisp! ha ha! Thankfully my husband is the most layed back man....so he still ate some of it and said it really was ok....I knew better! The sweetest gift Mike got was from Graham. We were walking and we were talking to Graham and he looked up at us and said..."ba ba"! We both stopped in our tracks and said...."did he just say ba ba"? Then he said it again...over and over...and then rest of the night. So I am guessing this is Graham first word...."ba ba"! We were super excited. Thanks to Jenn Mike and I got to get out of the house for the night and go to a movie. All you moms and dads know how SPECIAL this is when you have kids at home. We felt like we were dating all over again. Thanks Jenn for letting us get out just the two of us! And tonight we had some dinner with Mike's brother and wife, Andrew and Terra! It was fun to see them and their anitcipation for those twin boys anyday now!!!!!!! I attempted to make the 2nd cake for Mike today to have for dinner tonight....and this one made it! haha! So I hope Mike enjoyed a different but celebrated day!
