Thankful...

Today we are so thankful for Graham's progress in the NICU. He is 22 days old today and weighs 5.2.2! The Lord has answered so many of our prayers with our little guy. Each day he changes so much, it is so neat to see how truly a small child can show the face of God so much! Mike and I are on a count down for coming home. We are on 5 out of 8! So, hopefully we will be home friday! The 3 of us will experience our first weekend together in our home. Mike and I a bit nervous but know we will learn our new baby's need and wants as we get to know him more at home.
Graham has gone from a closed bed to an open bed! He is off all machines as of now....he has made quick progress for a 7 week early baby boy! This was him the first two weeks of his life in the Nicu! He has been a fighter and a tough little guy..but everything with his developement and growth has all shown that everything is "normal."

Our little miracle! This pic (above) he was 11 days old!

Little Graham has had lots of visitors already! His aunt Sarah and Unlce Stephen drove all the way from Orlando the weekend after he was born to see our their new Nephew! He has already changed so much since then! He has had lots of visit's from his Nanna, (Mike's mom, and Bi Bi (my mom). What love this little guy is going to have! Aunt Amie also made a trip to B-ham to visit baby Graham! Unlce Andy and Aunt T took a trip last Friday night to hold Graham for the first time. As you can see he will have lots of family to play with! Unlce Jamie and Aunt Jenn also have visited a few times, but poor little Liam and Emma haven't actually met their new Cousin, but they know he is in this world...and graham can't wait to play with them...and his almost new cousin...baby Lilly who is due Aug 1st!
This is my mom and dad's first grandchild! So, it was fun picking out "grandparent" names for them. Mom has decided on Bi Bi, and dad to be called POPS...thats right all caps! Mike is determined for Graham to call my mom granny, only b/c she thinks granny sound so old...it is a running joke between the two of them. They are over flowing with love already for our little man! This is Mike's parents 3rd grandchild, and there is a fourth on the way! Both of Mike's parents have already been a great help and are loving on Graham so much! POPS and Bi Bi

Mother's Day 2008
This Mother's day was extra Special! What a day! I woke up Sunday morning and Mike had made me a scavenger hunt for the day! There were notes and gifts all over the house. Of course the last clue led me to the NICU to visit and spend some time with graham! Dad and Mike made a special Mother's day lunch for Mom and I! We were both an emotional mess....what a special day.

Bruner Beach Trip! Summer 2008

We were so thankful for this pregnancy and how God protected my body through all the toxemia stuff! In the end I thought I was truly going to pop! The week before I went into the hospital...The Bruner bunch took our yearly trip to the beach! We sure got some good laughing in...as we all watched my body get bigger and bigger each day! Sarah would die laughing when I would laugh b/c my tummy would bounce up and and down...and she thought it was so funny to watch me walk...b/c it took me forever to go anywhere!
